Fall Baseball- Register now for the Oxford Parks and Recreation Fall Baseball league. Age divisions are 6U, 8U, 10U and 12U. Games will be played during the week. Registration fees are $25 for City residents, $35 Non-city. League ages are based on player’s age on April 30, 2011 (League ages for upcoming season). We are looking for good coaches to lead these teams. Contact the Recreation Department at 919-603-1135 to get our Coaching Application. Deadline August 13 at 5pm.
Fall Fast Pitch Softball- Register now for the Oxford Parks & Recreation Fall Softball leagues. We are offering league 8U through 18U. The season is late August through October. Games will be played on Saturdays. Registration is $25 for Oxford residents and $35 for all others. We are looking for good coaches to lead these teams. Contact the Recreation Department at 919-603-1135 for more information and to get our Coaching Application. Deadline August 13 at 5pm.
Football Registration- Boys – Ages 4-12 – Various leagues by age/weight. Players may be placed in divisions by age as well as by weight.
4-6 yr olds – Flag Football - $20.00 City Resident - $30.00 Non-City There is no contact. (2 to 3 days per week)
7-8-9 year olds – 8 Man Tackle Football - $25.00 City Residents - $35.00 Non-City
Weight restrictions apply. Youth beyond the limit will not be allowed to play in their age division but may move to the next age division. (3 days per week, practice required)
10-11-12 year olds - 8 Man Tackle Football- No travel to Henderson this year- $25.00 City Residents - $35.00 Non-City – Weight restrictions apply. Youth beyond the limit will not be allowed to play. (4 days per week, practice required)

10th Annual Top 50
Car Show- On September 11, 2010, starting at 9:30 and judging
at 11am. Oldies, Newies, and Models.
Trophies to 50 places plus Best of Show, Mayor's Choice, People's Choice,
and Recreation Department's choice. The event is held in conjunction with Oxford
Merchant's Sidewalk Sale. For more information on hotels, motels, and
restaurants, contact the Chamber
of Commerce. $15 entry fee and $2 for model cars.

2010
Swimming Lessons- American Red Cross certified swimming lessons
will be given at Oxford Family Pool at Rucker Park starting June 10th.
Private lessons will be offered at a rate of $60 for four lessons or $15 per
lesson. There will be five, one-week group sessions. The cost of each
group session will be $40.
