The Oxford Parks and Registration Department provides quality baseball
programming to youth 4 to 16. An emphasis is placed on fun, teaching
of basic skills and fundamentals, team concept, and sportsmanship.
Family involvement, exercise, and development of the love of the sport are
an objective. The opportunity for post season tournament play is
available to the more serious athletes. Leagues are affiliated with
Babe Ruth League Incorporated.
Leagues
....T-Ball 5 - 6 Coed...
4 year olds scheduled to begin kindergarten in the Fall are eligible.
Participants cannot turn 7 on or before August 1.
Modified rules apply.
...Coach Pitch 7 - 8...
cannot turn 9 on or before April 30.
...Cal Ripken Minor 10 and under....
cannot turn 11 on or before April 30.
...Cal Ripken Major 12 and under...
cannot turn 13 on or before April 30.
...Babe Ruth 13-15 ...
cannot turn 16 on or before April 30.
Fees:
$20.00 for city residents
$30.00 for non-residents

Post season play is available for ages 7 - 16. As affiliates with
Babe Ruth League Inc., youth in those age groups are members of Babe Ruth
League Inc., and are covered by a blanket accidental/injury policy.
Tournament teams are selected during the season to represent the City in
district tournaments to qualify for regional and state competition.
teams are selected in accordance with guidelines set by Babe Ruth League
Inc. and the Department. Participants should demonstrate a high level
of skill, excellent sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
