Public Works is located on 227 W. McClanahan Street, Oxford, NC 27565. Capacity 125 people. This is an indoor facility - suitable for meetings, dinners, receptions, classes, reunions. Deposit required with reservation. Click here to view a picture of the facility. Download rental contract here.

Swimming lessons available June and July.
Lake Devin Road, Oxford, NC - Shelter and outdoor volleyball available. Opened to the public March 1 - December 31. Daylight to dark. Reservations available for small fee.
Lake Devin Road, Lake Devin Park. Boat ramp available -
North Carolina Fishing License and Lake Devin Fishing Permit required.
Operation of Gas Motors prohibited.
(Lake Devin fishing permit can be purchased at City Hall in the water department.)

2.5 miles of rugged Nature Trails. Signage identifying wildlife -
Overlooks picnic areas along the trail. Perfect for family outings,
class field trips, or relaxing nature walks. Entrance at Lake Devin
Park. Direction signs are on site.
Located on Granville Street. Community Park. Open to public Daylight to Dark, Department. 1 tennis court, outdoor volleyball, paved games and play area, toddler playground and picnic area. Reservations for groups available. Change for Youth facility on site. Call for more information.
Oxford Recreation Center (Hix), Spring Street in Oxford.
Multi-Use Field - lighted - One(1) softball field, One(1) baseball field, One(1) soccer/football, and one batting cage. Fields opened to the public daylight to dark except when in use for scheduled programming.
Gymnasium - One(1) regulation basketball/volleyball court with bleachers. Seating for 300. Aerobics/Dance Room, Fitness Room, and Locker Rooms available. No rentals - reserved for programming and events.
Tennis Courts - Two(2) lighted regulation courts
Basketball Court - New basketball court completed in the Summer of 2006
Oxford Community Park - Children's playground and shelter. Open to the public, daylight to dark. Reservations for small groups (less than 30) and school groups available.
Belle Street. Small park with minimal ramps to 3 feet.
Skateboards, roller blades and skates allowed. No bikes and scooters
are permitted. Use by permit only as enforced by ordinances.
Opened daylight to dark.

The Diamonds At Oxford Park recreation facility, located on Horner Siding Road, in Oxford, features 4 lighted baseball/softball fields, 2 football fields, 2 concession stands, a Tot Lot, walking trail and bleacher seating for league and tournament play. The Diamonds At Oxford Park will have Opening Day on April 18th.
