Office Hours: 8 am - 5 pm M-F
Held in September. Oldies, Newies, and Models. Trophies to 50 places plus Best of Show, Mayor's Choice, People's Choice, and Recreation Department's choice. The event is held in conjunction with Oxford Merchant's Sidewalk Sale. For more information on hotels, motels, and restaurants, contact the Chamber of Commerce. Occurs in May - at Lake Devin. Kids 6 - 15 and their parents are encouraged to join staff and NC Wildlife Inland water Fisheries Biologist in a Fun Day of fishing.
Learn to fish. Learn to identify type of fishes, turtles and other wildlife in our fresh waters. Learn about an activity that is fun for the entire family and learn to appreciate our natural resources. Poles and Bait provided. Hot Dog cookout, goodie bags with "fishing stuff," and prizes for everyone. No charge for this activity. Limited to 30 participants. Watch upcoming events for registration information. The Relay for Life Run/Walk has been a strong successful event for Oxford, NC for several years. Many of the local population are strong supporters for cancer research and volunteer their time to participate in the Fun Run.
This is an annual event held in March. See upcoming events for dates and details.

Entry fee is $15.00 Singles, $20.00 per Doubles Team. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.

The annual Oxford Recreation Easter Egg Hunt is offered to pre-schoolers. Thousands of eggs are hidden and the Easter Bunny is on-hand to visit! Pictures are made for a minimal fee. See upcoming events for dates and details.

The Fall Festival is held in October each year. Members of the Recreation department wear costumes and greet participants for fun and games at Oxford Recreation Complex.

The Horseshoe Tournament is held at the Oxford Recreation Complex. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life!
Trophies are given to
winners
and finalists in each division. Singles and doubles teams are eligible to
compete.
Registration is $10.00 for Singles, $20.00 for Doubles teams - same day registration.
