Occurs in May - at Lake Devin. Kids
6 - 15 and their
parents are encouraged to join staff and NC Wildlife Inland water Fisheries
Biologist in a Fun Day of fishing.
Learn to fish. Learn to
identify type of fishes, turtles and other wildlife in our fresh waters.
Learn about an activity that is fun for the entire family and learn to
appreciate our natural resources. Poles and Bait provided. Hot
Dog cookout, goodie bags with "fishing stuff," and prizes for everyone.
No charge for this activity. Limited to 30 participants. Watch

The Relay for Life Run/Walk has been a strong successful event for Oxford, NC for
several years. Many of the local population are strong supporters for
cancer research and volunteer their time to participate in the Fun Run.

This is an annual event held in March. See upcoming events

Entry fee is $15.00 Singles, $20.00 per Doubles Team. All proceeds
go to the American Cancer Society.
Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles are played. Ages 10 and up are
